Day Hiking Packages

Every trip into the Niagara Gorge is unique. The Niagara Hiking Company offers several day hiking packages that can be customized to your available time, ability and preferences. Below, please find our standard packages and rates. We can also accommodate longer trips and multiple hike packages if you are staying the area for an extended period of have a large group.

Each standard hike travels at least 4 miles and is a minimum of two hours in duration. The average elevation change is 400-500 feet, but a majority of the hike is spent at river level. We limit hiking parties to six guests to make sure our hikers have enough space to fully experience the Niagara Gorge. Each hike is rated as “Easy to Moderate Difficulty” but your preferences and comfort level will help us create our trail plan.

We will meet at a free New York State Parks parking lot before the hike and proceed to the trailhead for a quick gear check and safety briefing. All of our hikes are rated between easy and moderately difficult and we will move at a pace that the group is comfortable with. Water, granola and fruit are also provided as part of each hike, with other refreshments varying based on hiking package.

There are two Niagara Hiking guides assigned to each group with a maximum group size of six people. On the trail, we will stop to learn about the history of the gorge, check out different vantage points along the Niagara River line and get photos along the way. Our guides are able to take candid or posed photos of you on the trail and either email or airdrop them to you at the end of the hike. Each hiking package also includes a rest point along the water to reflect, hydrate, take in the sights and enjoy the provided snacks.  The calendar below shows open dates and times for your hike.
